Hydrogen has been the fuel of the future for decades, always promising considerable benefits in a decade’s time.

More recently, green hydrogen (hydrogen produced using renewable energy and electrolysis) is being promoted as an emissions reduction solution for sectors such as steel, power generation, and transportation.

According to Goldman Sachs, green hydrogen could underpin up to 25% of the world’s energy needs by 2050 and become a US$10 trillion addressable market by 2050.

Many countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Germany, the EU, Japan, and South Korea are publishing national hydrogen strategies.
