It is with such sadness that we mourn the unexpected loss of Andrew Aitken

Andrew was one of the greats in the funds distribution industry – renowned for his success at Bennelong. He had built an exceptional team at Daruka which has distributed our funds for a number of years, T8 Energy Vision and NO17 Gold (formerly T8 Gold).

Very many in the industry knew Andrew, but absolutely everyone in the industry had heard of him.

He was great to work with – thoughtful, extremely generous with his time and incredibly well connected. He was one of the rare people who was always thinking about how his network could help you. He was self-deprecating despite his success. And he was someone I always looked forward to having a beer with.

I feel very proud to have had the opportunity to work with you, Andrew, and to have been friends. You backed us early on, put your and your company’s name behind us, and I’ll never forget that. You were a brilliant partner to strategize, plan, debrief and troubleshoot with. Thank you and I’ll really miss you, mate.
